Nature

With nature surrounding you, experience the Murray Valley Regional Park and all it has to offer.

Make sure you pack your binoculars and picnic rug! With numerous beautiful picnic spots along the Edward River throughout the Murray Valley Regional Park you won’t want to miss the opportunity to have an afternoon of true connection with nature, and enjoy the untouched natural beauty surrounding you. The binoculars will come in handy to help you identify some of the 100+ bird species that have been spotted in the Forest.

Try the Beach to Beach Riverside Walk

Starting at McLean Beach, follow the path along the Edward River banks, continue along the path until you reach the Island Sanctuary. The walking path continues at the back gate of the sanctuary, continue on and you will enter the Murray Valley Regional Park before finishing at Willoughby’s Beach. Or alternatively, view it from the river by floating from Willoughby Beach to McLean Beach on your floating device.

Are you a bird lover?

Spend some time taking in the wildlife in the Deniliquin State Forest just behind the resort.

How many of the incredible 100+ bird species will you see?
