Why the Kookaburra?
At Deni Golf Resort, our resident Kookaburra family adds a touch of charm to the surroundings, maintaining a tranquil vigilance over our guests. They're known to enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool during warmer days! The Blue-winged Kookaburra (Dacelo leachii) earns its name from the striking blue hues adorning the wings of the male birds. If you visit the resort in late spring (September to December), you might even catch a glimpse of a newly hatched chick exploring the accommodation and forest areas.
